the first picture is an alternate evo of pawniard I based on a different chess peice the knight or the horse depending on what you call it
the second picture is how pawniard would evolve if this fakemon was real
so the idea for this knight based evolution is based off how pawniard in my opinion evolve pawniard is based off a pawn from chess which when reaching the end of the board turns into any other peice exept most people choose the queen but it’s not the only one it can do but in Pokemon pawniard evolves into a bishop than the king so I am forced to keep the king because well it’s already there and but think it would work better if pawniard evolved directly in kingambit or queengambit depending on the gender for a harder to get and stronger evolution or 3 other chess peices this Pokémon bisharp and one for the rook that I haven’t made. Bisharp would be And Is heavily attack based this pokemon(which I don’t actually have a name for) would be heavily speed based and the rook would be defense based
now I present the Pokémon which since I haven’t named yet we’re gonna just call knight. knight like bisharp is dark steal type and if you’ve noticed by the four legs I also based on a centaur the reason for it being a centaur is because well it needed to be humanoid-ish but it needed to be in some way or another horse related since the standard chess peice for a knight has a horse face and there’s no good options for a steed so I made a centaur anyway idk how it would evolve or anything but the fact that bisharp already is already heavily attack based means they might add more evolutions in the pawniard line in the future also yall post ideas for this guys name in the comments because the only name I have is knightmare and it works ok since it’s a knight and it’s a dark type but it doesn’t have any relation to it’s steal type which is kinda where the pawniard line shines literally since their metalic
