Design notes: Barbaroost is based on pirates, pirate captains, barbarossa and the black heron. The whole idea for this line was to be very similar to Corrvikingth where each evolution it changes into a different kind of bird and rises through the ranks of its inspiration, for corrvikintgh it was knights but for Barbaroost its pirates. i chose to base the line of pirates as they were a constant threat in the entire mediterraneans as well as the infamous barbarossa who was a Greek and where barbaroost gets both its red beard as well as name, plus a black beard reference for the shiny 👀.
