Myricine is a Pokémon native to a region that has yet to be explored. Its appearance resembles a small purple berry, but those who try to pick it without caution expose themselves to a formidable venom. The liquid secreted by its skin and spikes contains an extremely powerful plant-based toxin, inspired by ricin, capable of immobilizing even the toughest Pokémon.
Despite its grumpy look, Myricine is a highly intelligent Pokémon that lives hidden in humid forests, where it blends perfectly with wild berry bushes. It lures its prey by releasing a sweet fragrance, then emits toxic spores when anything gets too close. It is renowned for its ability to neutralize threats quickly, never needing to flee.
Its resemblance to berries allows it not only to attract prey, but also to lure certain reckless Pokémon, making it a central element of their diet.
It is said that in its region of origin, Trainers view Myricine as a protector of plant life, eliminating parasites and maintaining ecological balance in its own… lethally efficient way.
