Forever Friends but seeing a progress bar on their profile. What is it?

I just hit Forever Friends with someone. We have not traded yet (not Lucky).

When I open their profile, I see a progress bar on the top left (see screenshot). It looks like it’s building toward something

Does anyone know exactly what this bar represents? Maybe our next remote trade?
