its a good update if we are getting link charges for free everyday and they are enough to beat atleast 1 mega raid per day in person. skeptical of the shield and raid rework though.

F2P and I basically NEVER do remote raids. All my coins go to normal raid passes or pokemon storage. Only time I ever do it is a new regional in raids like the new Tauros, just to get the one and call it good.

Disgusting. And as F2P, I don't buy remote passes. I used to buy these back then when there was no limit and the price was ok. Also, I don't do Dynamax or Gigantamax remotely. I don't support that predatory approach to milk us more. I have a local guy who's disabled. Back in the old days, I kept chasing all the raids, and he remote joined me. Also, when you lookat the numbers, they used to earn more during the COVID lockdown with remote pass sales than nowadays with all the crap tickets they try to shove down our throats.
F2p, I depend entirely on the 7 day research box. Maintain 2 in my inventory so there's always a chance it drops. I could spend coins in the shop for a discount box, but at this point I'm still spending them all on inv and pokemon upgrades.
As a f2p player, the real benefit I see is the ability to do more than a single raid a day, as long as local doesn't require me to use the daily pass as well. This should at least double the number of raids I can do a day counting towards the Plat metal. And if would leave my free daily pass dedicated to the legendary so the badge isn't competing with the other.
Honestly my first thoughts are now you don't have to choose between using your free daily raid pass on a 5* raid or a Mega raid. Perhaps these link charges allow you to complete more mega raids and still have your free daily passes for regular raids. 🤷♂️
Concerning the comment about your eyes, do you take Vitamin D? I have that issue sometimes because I work nights and I smoke. Vitamin D with Calcium might help. Cheers.
