They’re Ghost/Fairy, and Dragon/Fire respectively.
Banette is based on the Cheshire Cat and ShinMonzaemon from Digimon, and Salamence is inspired by rocket ships and Valstrax from Monster Hunter!

“Mega Evolution has caused the cursed energy within to fully awaken, but it’s kept at bay from a mix of the bond it has with its trainer, and the ability to move past its grudge because of it, finding nostalgia. However, ‘kept at bay’ does not mean ‘weakened’ in the slightest.”
Mega Salamence Z’s entry:
“Its wings have become incased in steel-like scales, but this has done anything but hinder its flight. The pressure stored within the metal can be expelled with a mix of it and the energy from Mega Evolution, producing a unique burning light that propels it at previously-hypothetical speeds.”
