Design notes: Myrmeon is based on ants and the Myrmecoleon, a strange combination of an ant and a lion, also where the name antlion comes from for the species Trapinch is based on. Design-wise I wanted Myrmeon to look a little bit more intimidating in more like Jolteon and Umbreon than say Leafeon or Sylveon, but I also wanted it to look like it could be your friend, hence the fluffy mane.
Insectialate* – Normal-type moves become Bug-type moves. The power of those moves is boosted a little.
