Design notes: Scrapugg is based on pugs, boxing, and boxing equipment. In ancient Greece, the earliest forms of modern-day boxing can be found, and I thought having a boxing dog based on the pun name of the boxer dog breed would be fun. Although the design isn't based on a boxer it's based on a pug, as the fat wrinkly bodies of pugs lend themselves well to being a defensive Pokemon, as well as being similar to the breed of its evolutions which is another staple of ancient Greek history, but what breed is it? You'll have to wait and see
