Renardent: The Ardent Magatama Pokémon
Renardent is a lively Fire-type Pokémon with a bold and courageous temperament.
Its blazing colors give it a vibrant and impressive appearance despite its small size.
For a long time, Renardent were used as guardians of dojos. They are loyal and highly territorial. Their impulsive nature allows them to stay alert to the slightest danger, although they sometimes rush in headfirst and suffer the consequences.
Renardent especially love martial arts and spend most of their time training in order to learn new techniques.
Their tails resemble magatama beads, which is why they are often associated with the number nine, a number that gradually became sacred in the dojos they inhabit. It is said that only after long and intense training can Renardent evolve, which explains their constant dedication and daily efforts.
Shiny: For the shiny form, I drew inspiration from Sasuke’s Susanoo form, while the base colors are inspired by Kyubi and Naruto.
Comments:
Still working with the new brush, I experimented with new settings again. Overall, I’m quite happy with the final result, but there’s still a long way to go.
