This is the proof I have at the moment. I have not only been using my Pokémon GO + Plus auto-catcher, but I have been literally walking all around my city every single day from the first hour the Valentine's Day event began, using incenses, daily incenses, etc., and I use the "fast catch" method with ONLY trick curveball throws, using ONLY ultra balls. I have collected about 3,000 total mons just adventuring around since the start of this event and these are all of the wild spawns I have found (DISCLAIMER: Reduce the overall total count by 11 because of Nidoking/Queen raids + the visible Nidorino w/ party hat & Nidorina–none of these mentioned are shiny either, fyi).
Furthermore, historically speaking, I have ALWAYS found approximately 1-3 shinies in the wild or via hatching eggs every single day I have played. Since the event's inception, I have ONLY found ONE shiny (a Feebas, of all things, caught by my auto-catcher) out of, again, a grand total of approximately 3,000 mons.
THIS IS INSANE!!! PLEASE tell me I am NOT crazy and there IS a serious issue!! Every community day event, I end up with like 5-10+ shinies, and every time an event shiny-boosts a mon, I ALWAYS find at LEAST one or two! Over the last freaking 4 days….NONE! I'm speechless!
