The Grass type line is based on a type of crocodillian mixed with the leek and daffodil which are welsh symbols. Grass and dragon type at the end
The fire type line is based on a horse then the final evo is based on the "Mari Lwyd" which is a Welsh folk custom using a horse skull
The water type is based on a squid which evolves into a pirate kraken with a torn head bandana. The two up facing tentacles are based on the cutlass and the green is meant to be a kelp coat/ jacket.
I know I'm not the best at this sorry but I tried my best
I chose a Welsh region because I'm from Wales and in sword and shield we didn't get much Welsh representation as galar is the UK flipped upside down with Wales chopped off. Only Welsh representation is Yamper, The Coalossal line, Wooloo and I guess Galarian Farfetch'd
