I wanted to create my own version of a regional form or convergent species of the Tinkaton line. The idea that I had was based on miners. So, instead of building a giant hammer out of metal, this convergent species would build a Giant Pickaxe instead!
This convergent species is inspired by dwarves, the Tinkaton Evolution Line, Miners, and Pickaxes.
Also, as opposed to the original Tinkaton line, these guys are an all-male species, instead.
I worked with patofermin on Fiverr to help bring this idea to fruition and I love how they turned out!
Anyways, here is my own convergent species of the Tinkaton line for my Western-based fakemon region, called the Weson Region.

Clinkatink ('Clink' + Tinkatink) – The Spelunker Pokemon: (Fighting/Rock Type)
Clinkatink make their homes deep within cave systems and mines. They carry a small crude pickaxe made from stone and ore, which it uses both to defend itself and to chip away at stone walls in search of rare minerals. It will remake its pickaxe over and over again until it is satisfied with the result.
Clinkatuff ('Clink' + Tinkatuff) – The Pickaxe Pokemon: (Fighting/Rock Type)
Clinkatuff are much more confident and daring than its pre-evolved form. They will attack groups of Roggenrola, Boldore, and Gigalith to gather sturdy stones and ore, which they use to craft larger, more durable pickaxes. They test the strength of each other’s pickaxes by smashing them together in loud, ringing clashes.
Clinkaton ('Clink' + Tinkaton) – The Pickaxe Pokemon: (Fighting/Rock Type)
Using their enormous pickaxes, Clinkaton can split apart stone walls with a single swing, carving through entire mines in a matter of days in search of rare minerals. Their stone pickaxes top nearly 300 pounds, yet it is swung by Clinkaton with ease. It fearlessly and relentlessly continues its attacks on Boldore and Gigalith to harvest their stone and ore. Miners in the Weson Region greatly value this Pokemon for their strength and excavation prowess.
Signature Move:
MEGATON PICK – (Physical | Rock-Type | 160 damage | 100% Accuracy | 5 PP)
The user swings its giant pickaxe with overwhelming force. This move cannot be used twice in a row.

Call them ‘Pickatink’, ‘’Pickatuff, and ‘Pickaton’; have them be Rock/Fighting types.
The hair should become a beard, can make them like gnomes. Fairy/Ground or Fairy/Rock maybe?
Do they prey on Gigalith like the original prey on Corviknight?

I think it’s more of a regional form. The base inspirations are too close to call it a convergent species.
