Since there was a three week gap between my last post and the post before this, figured I could post this now, especially since it's just some updated artwork. But as the title says, this is my last super old line that I've finally has updated. First was my otter line, then my harpoon squids, then the bears, and now these guys. I've already explained this line in their original post, so I'll just talk about each of their changes instead
The first stage (Therosod) is exactly the same basically, just in a more unique pose to better capture how he normally acts. The cactus split evolution (Theractus) is also basically the same too, just a little change in their expression. And finally, the flower frilled split evolution (Therobane) has the most improvement imo. A much better pose, and their flower frills look better than in the original. So the concept was exactly the same for every stage, just updated to the artwork of my current artist

The poses are more interesting and I think your rendering improved as well!
There is definitely an overall improvement in the quality and poses of each Pokémon. But also, there are subtle changes that make each Pokémon fit the official Pokémon art style more.

Okay, a cactus-themed dinosaur is actually an amazing concept for a starter, maybe for a region based on Arizona or a particularly dry part of the world. I especially love the flower petals that form frills around its neck in its final stage.

I honestly quite like both of the flower frill designs for Therobane. Rather than having the new design replace the old one outright, have you considered casting one as the male version and the other as the female?
