I hope this is just the start and we end up with the other games, especially Emerald, it’ll be nice for the younger fans to actually play a Pokemon game that has the post game included.

Oh weird, I got an early digital copy on OpenEmu like 12 years ago

  3. I love these games, but it would be hard for me to go back to the old special stat and old methods of EV/IV training/breeding.

EDIT: guys I meant the physical/special attack split.

  4. ZaWarudoh

I’ve had my digital copy already for over 20 years, weird.

  5. ElderGoose4

I just want to know if the Johto Birds and Deoxys events are in the game

  6. Hope they bring the ds games, or even the 3ds games eventually. With the high prices of the original games, and especially the 3ds cartridges dying, it’d be nice to have a relatively cheap alternative for the rest.

“digital copies are being set out early” lol what times are we living in

And it’s really just booting up the unmodified ROM.

Editing the announcement trailer was probably the most work that was put into this “port”.

    Really hoping for a 4K 60fps Switch 2 version.

Isn’t there some kind of special DLC with new Pokémon?

  11. JoyconDrift_69

Yeah, they have. I heard they were sent out in the form of GBA cartridges, in fact!

^(seriously, why? this is literally an emulated re-release)

  12. Would this be a good one as a “first Pokémon” game for a 6 year old?

  13. Renegade_451

How do you accidentally send out a digital copy early?

  14. Zeppelanoid

That’s weird, I found digital copies of these games years, hell even decades ago. I guess Nintendo released them early 🤔
