Of course patches are a good thing. But it leaves a bad taste in my mouth and a feeling that companies intentionally release poor quality games knowing they can just finish them later and will be celebrated and praised for it. When I see patches like this my reaction is “oh, so you could have fixed this and just didn’t until people were mad?”
It’s not like these problems with the game weren’t obvious. The game was in a horrible place, clear as day to anyone who tried to play it
