Was curious and a little afraid to change the battery after hearing tales of corrosion, but when I pried the thing open the battery was fine. Got a new battery and it came on immediately.
Screen is dimmer than I remember, cuz I'm used to so many bright screens nowadays, but my little tortle guy is still thriving.
