I mean does it really matter? Like if your the person who insists on home integration then I feel you likely have all the pokemon in this game anyway?
If it is just so you can give yourself pokemon early or complete the dex more easily then I wonder why you’re bothering to play at all?

And who said that this one will work? It’s literally an emulated game on the Switch, you can’t do that kind of integration. The Switch version is literally going to be the worst version of these games since it’s going to run on a much bigger screen than the original one.

The humble modded 3DS that lets you emulate/play Gen 1 to 7, transfer them to Bank and then Home:

Not everyone has access to emulators. Yes you can use your phone but I destroyed the battery on my last phone by doing that.
If you donāt like these, then donāt buy them. Getting mad they exist for people that do want to buy them is stupid.

Kanto is such a rare region to be featured in this franchise, so I am sure this is a must have if you want to have access to its Pokemon nowadays.

But I have never understood how HOME comparability is a selling point. I play the game with the Pokemon available in the game, have never had the urge to transfer Pokemon from an older game into a newer one after the initial shock of it being capable in GSC when I was a kid.
Play on emulator, transfer to the 3DS, upload from 3DS to Home. Ez.Ā

My understanding is that the mention of Home connectivity was removed shortly after it was announced. This is according to Serebii, and they’re my gold standard for reporting Pokemon news. At the very least, surely we’ll get confirmation by Friday.

Itās not guarenteed. All complaints are warranted; They initially had the note that HOME connectivity was an eventuality, but hours later, it was removed.
Even for those that have never played the games – itās not a complete game without The guarantee or mention of plans to release RSE in the future.
And for those counter-arguing that theyāre giving us what we asked for: False. We wanted a complete game. These two versions theyāre releasing ājust for funā are incomplete, and donāt reach the potential of what they could be in the 21st century.
All of it is super sketch. Especially with no online connectivity being confirmed.
I’m so tired of constant civil war between Pokemon Fans. Are you guys tired screaming towards each other? Why do you care so much about feeling “superior” towards others who don’t play the game in the exact same method as yours? Being a Pokemon fan nowadays is tiring.

I’m so confused. People wanted the ports really badly, why is there so much complaining. You were never getting them for free ever and under $10 is not much of a thing anymore for pokemon. I thought ports were like a number one want for years. It’s not like Firered is a bad game at all and is probably a step toward all the games getting ports at some point. If you’d rather emulate no one is stopping you but there was never a chance the ports would be free

The only thing that can convince me to buy it (and it’s a gigantic maybe) is the Pokedex bonus for PokĆ©mon Home.
