Rugapup has loads of pent up energy. Many trainers catch it based on its cuteness, but few have the abilities necessary to train it. When it gets close to evolution, it starts releasing its energy by chewing on household objects. Wild Rugapup wrestle with each other every day to hone their skills. They might use pokemon like Deceetle (another Arvonian pokemon) Togepi as makeshift balls.
Dingoal is fueled by a fighting spirit. People and pokemon gather to watch packs of Dingoal play their games to decide which one gets to eat first. Any Dingoal that underperforms will be ousted from the pack. Their ball is made out of twigs and leaves, fashioned by Alkari (a monkey pokemon).
