So weird there were no reviews early and it wasn’t shadow dropped

I’m interested but will wait for 1) inevitable needed patches and 2) price drop.

The game looked very rough on the trailer they showed. This is a PS4 game, it should look way better on the Switch 2

Waiting for someone to post: The Fallout Switch 2 port is horrible

$59.99 for a an almost 11 year old game? I will wait for a sale, that’s a joke.

Can someone share a few screenshots in 60fps mode how it looks? 🙂

Instant buy on first sale. When we thinking it will be?

60$ to look like shit in handheld lmao. Can devs start making 10 year old games look better in handheld?

I didnt buy switch 2 to have it docked 24/7. I have my ps5 for that.

Insanity man. No excuse when games like Cyberpunk are gorgeous in handheld.

I think this is a good general reminder that you don’t have to buy games the second they come out. No doubt patches and sales are going to happen. There are plenty of other games to play while you wait!

How are the gfxs on 30 fps?dont really care about 60fps

I’mma wait until it’s a few patches deep and on sale. This one clearly needed more time in the oven

60 fps looks a bit blurry, but it also has a 40 fps setting which seems to be a good compromise so far.

If this was reasonably priced, I would’ve bought it day one. You see games like FFVII Remake doing it right with their pricing.

Kinda scary that it doesn’t look like there are any reviews or showcases of how the game runs out yet. It seems like a no-brainer that they would have given people pre-release copies to show how it runs ahead of time, especially since it’s not like there’s much to hide with a decade-old game. Hell, even Cyberpunk let reviewers try out the game and gauge its performance before its original release, even if the very real issues in performance were somewhat handwaved away as being because of the pre-release DRM.

I’m cautiously interested since having Fallout on the Switch would be quite nice, but I’ll definitely be waiting to see how the port actually performs. I don’t need the game to run and look like it does on PC, but I’d like to hope a port on the Switch 2, a device actually quite a bit more powerful than what the hardware the game was originally intended for, at the very least doesn’t take you out of the experience with sharp framerate drops or exclusive bugs.

How’s 40 fps mode does anyone know?

I cannot believe people are actually paying $60 for this game.

I’ll get it on sale. I got it on PC for 5 bucks so I’m not in a rush but I would like to play it handheld

Fallout 4 on the go at 60 fps. Yes please.

Great to hear 60fps. But Heavy discount needed for me. I have fallout 4 already on PS5 and Steamdeck. Happy to have it more portable on Switch 2, but needs to be at a good discount

Waiting for a sale on this one. RE9 bundle and pokemon fire red coming just in this week alone

Playing it on handheld at 60 fps. It looks astonishingly well.

I don’t know if the language packs are broken, but I’m trying to play in spanish and it’s only giving me spanish subs with english audio. I played this with spanish audio on the Xbox, so the sub definitely exists.

Ron Perlman’s narration is iconic but I just wanted to hear the old spanish dude say “La guerra nunca cambia”

Is the 60 fps mode locked to docked play or is it available while playing handheld?

    Im the sucker!
Preordered and started playing since early morning.
Fallout 4 is in my top list of games and a lot of it is due to nostalgia.
That being said. The game runs really well on 60 fps and the graphics are better than expected (for a Bethesda game). I do have a bit of an issue with blurriness and fog and it’s almost impossible to find dogmeat in the wild due to lack of shadows.
But I am overall pleasently surprised as I expected worse.
