It's always bothered me how the Kanto Pokedex jumps around a lot. Like you're telling me that Geodude, who I get as early as Mt. Moon, is later in the Pokedex than Venonat, only obtained after 4 badges? Furthermore, pair Pokemon such as Vulpix and Growlithe are many entries apart.
Here is my attempt at fixing the Kanto Pokedex. It is roughly in order by the order and area you encounter them, although certain exceptions can be made (Eevee, Dratini, fossils, etc.) The Pokemon after Mew are native to the Sevii Islands.
I also included all cross generational evolutions, but not those of regional forms. The only thing I was uncertain of here is Kleavor, which, may or may not be extinct, but then again so are the fossils.
