In my own Fakemon Region, there are meteorite shards that land in different biomes that spur evolution and hyperspecialization in some species of Pokemon.
I wondered what if some Trapinch affected by this evolved away from flight and instead focused on ambush tactics from underground, sticking to the antlion larva idea more.
Also I just wanted a "sandworm" lol
I have no clue what to name them yet. I'll get around to it eventually, haha!
