I’ve bought many packs for my son who is collecting. I’ve enjoyed watching kids be so happy about it but didn’t really care myself. But lately I’ve been invested in my son’s collection as he is very passionate about it, and meanwhile one of my momfriends have started collecting herself to have a shared hobby with her boys. And as she told me more and more about it it sparked my interest.
My son has saved up for an ascended heroes ETB and I decided to get two mini Tins for myself. I got this card in my first ever pack for myself.
And It’s the most beautiful card I’ve ever seen because it looks just like my daughter and she also have a name meaning flower in our language. I just want to cry because it was so beautiful. The best card I could possibly get.
My son got 5 EX in his ETB and some other things that he wanted for his collection that he was happy about, but I felt a little bad about not giving him my card because he have never gotten a full art from a pack (but have bought a few singles), but he is more in to powerful than beautiful cards and I really love it so I want to keep it for myself. I think he understands sometimes mummy need nice things too lol.

Such a cool card!!!! Don’t fall into the “it’s only cool if it’s expensive” crowd. If the card is cool to you and makes you happy then it’s an amazing card!!
It’s awesome card, my favorites are cards that feature trainers together with pokemons, and Erika is awesome. She was in both anime and games

This collector absolutely loves that card as someone who LOVED Erika and thought Tangela looked like a Kirby covered in blue noodles as a kid I’m hoping I can 1 day pull this card

Sounds like something a REAL collector would understand , I believe it’s the RE-SELLERS that think its only cool if it’s expensive but for those of us that can litterally remember our first pack and our first cool card , the memory is worth more than the money. I can remember my first time opening packs I bought from our local DG they where single packs of sword and shield the regular sw&sh and i pulled a Zamazenta V secret rare gold card and it felt like I had won something incredible. It was a great feeling ive been ripping ever since.

That’s an awesome card! I want that one so I’m jealous haha. And yes don’t feel bad about not giving him the card. You two have a shared hobby and you’re allowed to have things too. He understands there is his collection and mummy’s collection— and you guys have different styles. It’s a beautiful card and it’s so cool that it reminds you of your daughter. You can make a binder page of cards that remind you of your daughter and another that reminds you of your son. I love making themed binder pages personally.
