Locking the Diancie research behind the completion of the Go Tour one is beyond me, at least as a rural it’s a good news

What a misleading Research this was.
It’s either
*Just do the Masterwork research and catch 500 Kalos Pokemon OUTSIDE of the event, when there are NO Kalos Spawns.*
Or
*Do the Event research and catch 560+ Kalos Pokemon DURING the event, when there are SOME Kalos Spawns. But not nearly as many as there should have been for an event based on Kalos.*
I hope going forward they just make the big catch requirement ANY Pokemon but with the number correlating to the Mythical’s Dex Number. We’re into the 700’s at this point anyway.
Assuming we still get Masterwork Research and they aren’t replaced with Passes like the company was hinting/threatening.

I mean, I get that it’s going to be harder with less Kalos spawns but it’s a Masterwork research I’m not too surprised

I am beyond p’d that Niantic pulled this number
I was able to finish x and y research about 4 hours into the main event on Sunday, after playing Saturday AND Sunday
Now I have about 150 of the needed 500 pkm for the masterwork research. I easily could have had all 500.
I will send this to Niantics AI chatbot, maybe if they get enough people they will not f with us again

Thatās messed up that the researches with Xerneas and Yveltal get automatically completed, so you canāt claim the rewards anymore because the researches are just gone.

Comma placement makes the timing unclear, as it suggests the Masterwork research will randomly appear before the event ends. Whereas if you place the comma after the words āendsā instead, it would suggest the research randomly appears at 6:01pm local time.
Which is it?

It will still go faster than the shiny Jirachi one – I still need three more Kecleons to get past that page
