Raid in progress

Why don’t they show a timer so I know how long the raid will be active? I want to feed this little guy but with the back to back raids going on it’s a pain in the bum to do that.

Is there a quick way to check this? If not, they should add it.

At least for this weekend, the time window without raids is :25-:30 and :55-:00 of every hour

Only way I’ve been able to do it is by remembering what gym they were in and then checking on Campfire if I was too far to see the gym in game

  3. Normally there isn’t a way to check.

However, during this event all raids run from xx:00 – xx:25 and xx:30 – xx:55. So just check in one of those 5 minute gaps. (Note they can be a couple of minutes late)

You can use the same timing to try to get into a gym, if you are quick.

If the gym is not on your list of nearby gyms the quick answer is no.

I would like to be able to see the timer on that screen for the same reason. Having to mess around with Campfire is an invitation for the game to close or stall.

I doubt it will happen, there is nothing in it for Niantic and it would mean probably more server polling to update the time. I suppose they could just add the raid end time so it said “Raid in progress until {time}”. Still won’t happen though.
