There is no way they aren’t doing something pertaining to Mewtwo in the Kanto event, it would render purchasing the deluxe pass for the event completely pointless in some ways.

Also both Gamefreak/Nintendo and Niantic/Scoopley is REALLY hammering in the phrase "don't forget where you came from" hard with giving Kanto (the very first Generation), so much attention! Lol! 💀

Event passes give me anxiety. I really hate this and much rather prefer the classic quest system
I mean, kanto is the first gen, the most classic, easiest to recognize to the main stream audience, iconic to the franchise and also its the 30 year anniversary…..im not surprised that there will be a bit of kanto this season/ year, i personally dont mind i dig the nostalgia but folks can't be pissy or surprised lol.
If they do the classic research days or more which I hope they bring back the farfetched that is Kanto or do a community day with both forms of farfetched. Kanto and Galar form. Since the research will be water type I hope it involves dewpider somehow cause i don’t have the shiny for it. I do not have a hundo for the lotad. I know that is 256. I still need Mr.mime and shiny mime jr. so I hope they do a mime research day. I like the classic research day there is one thing I will accept and I hope the event is not without and that is boosted shiny rates for the featured Pokemon but also to spice them up. If u are gonna take away something then spice up the new event and make it good. Not the oricorio disaster catch non mastery event. Btw that event sucked and was without a doubt was the worst catch mastery event ever. The u is not lift that is Niantic or possibly scopely I think it is both. Spotlight hours were great but the last one was a dud and a miss match. Totodile with 2x stardust that was not a good idea or at least i don’t think so. Totodile is good and 2x stardust not a good mix. If they had an underrated bonus like 2x transfer candy and a Totodile then I would be on board with it. Showcases can be better than spotlight since that gives rankings and they give rewards that are better than what routes are doing. (Not the current routes) I think that is fine. I’m talking before the buffed scatterbug shiny rate. Otherwise I think the routes system is meh at best like I find it alright. Anyway thanks Lift. I’m sad that spotlight hours are gone but the last one was a dud to me so I think that can be a good thing.

Seriously what's the point in classic research days, we barely get them only once every 6 months and as for Kanto why don't they juat put all 4 regionals in 7ks or something I been wanting shiny Tauros and Farfetched to complete my shiny kanto dex then I can retire from shiny hunting that's all I only set out to do when I started playing
It would be nice to see them finally do a event that features wild Lapras spawns

It’s right after Kalos tour Global so just pull up your big boy pants and have an easy few days, don’t play or stop acting like Kanto isn’t the best generation for the franchise
Still need farfetch’d, tauros and mr mime to complete the kanto shiny dex, and also need that stupid jynx. Idk why niantic never features it in events
