So, both me and another player had the same issue: we completed the six steps after selecting me the pharaoh and her the kabuki cut and we didn't get the option to change the cut.We sent screenshots to Niantic and they refuse to acknowledge it and still respond with "if you complete it you will get the option, WE ALREADY DID. It's actually insane that they just do not read and see the screenshots. At some point they mentioned something about "look for a solution in our blog posts since it's a common issud" and then just went back to "it's fine, you need to complete it." So my question is, IS IT a common issue so that I can at least hope in some future reparations or were we both particularly unlucky?

Did you restart your game? Did you go into the advanced settings and hit “Refresh Game Data”? Those are the troubleshooting steps they’re referring to that should’ve fixed the issue.
Weird they stated you had to complete it??
Neither of my friends nor I, had to complete more than page 1 to be able to change forms!
I’m so sorry you and your friend had this experience…sucks since I find it hard you can get compensated.
BUT you did pay, and legally they are obliged to follow through on that in most countries.

As soon as I selected a trim/path from the professor when prompted, I was able to change forms on mine. The research only came as a bonus. Sorry you didn’t get yours.
There are some posts here that describe a way to speak to humans instead of getting the standard AI responses. Maybe have a look if you can achieve that and actually get a better response.
can you confirm, were you able to swipe the form selection menu to the side? the other forme should have been on the right, but we can’t see from your post if it’s there or not
Weird, must be a diddy glitch. You should contact your local community to see if a kind gentlesir/madam has an extra for trade. Be sure to compensate them fairly though with a rare Pokefello in return!

Avete provato a scorrere verso destra dove ci sono i tagli? Anch’io sul momento sono rimasto spiazzato vedendo solo quei due, ma poi mi sono accorto che scorrendo veniva visualizzato anche quello da me scelto.
Non lo si vedeva nella pagina così come si presentava, esattamente come quello che hai postato tu, ma in realtà c’era da subito, subito dopo aver scelto il taglio fra i 5 possibili.
I had an issue with the change form button not functioning at all randomly throughout the weekend. No idea what fixed it other than waiting an indefinite amount of time
I was able to change its trim starting page 1. I got 3 options to change, 2 preset and the 3rd is the one I selected.
