Damn, Mario’s big anniversary and they didn’t have much to show for it.
A Tennis game ruined already by restricted region based matchmaking 6 days after launch that has everyone who picked up the game very sad, and has me keeping my wallet closed. If it’s your most iconic mascots birthday, and I haven’t opened my wallet, you failed horrifically. Mario’s anniversaries are always so pitiful and shallow, you’d think they’d want the entire world celebrating their golden goose but they can’t even be bothered to put on a good showing.

I see that Super Mario RPG and Super Mario Maker 2 are also on sale yet they don’t appear in the website.
Despite Mario vs Donkey Kong coming out soon on NSO, I still recommend the remake as it has two new worlds (four technically with the Plus campaign).

If you go to “all sales” you can see more Mario games on sale. Not sure why they’re not showing up under the Mar10 section.

I do need to know the logic between the nintendo only (so not ubisoft, not sega) games sale range being 30, 32, and 33% off like how do you decide between 32 and 33 percent. Cause how in the world are so you stingy single percent points matter to you (asking this of nintendo, not consumers who SHOULD be underwhelmed)

Really was hoping odyssey would be on sale. When I first got my switch I committed to only buying digital games and that has worked wonderfully because I’ve had two switch consoles get lost but the only game I wanted a physical copy of was Odyssey. And I’ve bought it twice and when I purchased the Switch 2 recently I decided I was gonna just buy it digitally.
