There's a lot of hate for them here, but this single fact makes them pretty awesome IMHO, and I think most people missed the fine print.

What do you mean missed the fine print? I’m not seeing anyone missing this around the subreddit, so wondering where you’re getting that or if you’re creating a false narrative in the fanbase

its more like “a lot of players cannot be bothered to read”.

The issue is that if you use them for remote mega raids, the remote raid pass is still consumed at the start of the battle LOL

To be honest, they can easily make the premium raid pass and remote raid pass the same way, WITHOUT creating a new currency.

I think the issue with the subreddits is that most of the more active Reddit community players are all using remote passes (for one reason or another) so they’re upset over the remote raid pass still being consumed. IMO for me, and a lot of the in person players I’ve talked to they’re a solid addition.

What about remote passes? I’ll never use them but for people who need to do one raid to unlock it it’s helpful.
