Many people have many questions about the new item, Link Charges, which can be used to battle Mega raids. However, it is not as straight forward to use this new item as it requires some steps to be completed before we can even use this item. This is how to collect and use the link charges we collect for free.

They need to know how to use the mega in a super mega raid.
I really needed this information. I searched all the channels for this. But my favourite Pokemon Go YouTuber finally made a video about this.

I think I remember it working before the update.. switch to link charges even with a free raid pass in bag
Mega Latios and Latias cost 150 LC. I used my link charges during the Kalos event only on non-Super Mega Raids and all of them cost 150 LC.

Taiwan also affected a lot. No gyms in Taipei main station that usually the biggest place to gather and play.
My link holder is at 2000 presently. Has the limit been raised?
8:00 brandon i used up all my link charges in the kalos tour only the super mega raids required 200 link charges ( i.e. dragonite , malamar , victerybell ) and rest all the raid of legendary or non legendary pokemon ( i.e. metagross , latias or any mega ) only required 150 link charges
Im never going to buy those things to do raids, i already have 3860 enough for 19 raids, from deluxe pass.
One problem the only raids on my gyms are legendary or shadow legendary outside of the kalos event i dont get megas on my gyms anymore

I know that for remote super mega raids, link charges don't get consumed if you fail your raid.
But what about in-person mega/super mega raids that you fail, do the link charges get consumed?
