I did 70raids. No shinies. I did get a shiny Honedge with a background from a research task. But … this event was a scam.
For veteran players it was Mega Dragonite and some new shinies? Felt very underwhelming.
Events are happening constantly and we don't have any time to rest, and sadly, the shiny rate has decreased significantly since PokemonGO was sold to Scopely.
Did 100+ kyogre 1 shiny with the background another shiny and a hundo, did 140+ Groudons 5 were shiny 2 had backgrounds too + a random hundo from mirror trading, did around 100+ palkia orgin and got 1 STINKIN SHINY but it had spacial rend and a background too so it’s whatever. Also managed a 98 palkia with rend and a background and n fortunately the one altered form I did had the background and was a 100% iv. Did about 40 orgin dialgas all with mid to bad tier Ivs 3 were shiny one shiny with a background but none had ROT. Got a ho oh shiny with a background and a lugia shiny with a background. Also managed a purifyable hundo ho oh. As for kyurem I only did a handful maybe 20 or so and got one 98% and a few backgrounds. Raided the crap out of yveltal and got 7 shiny and a 100% iv. Raided the crap out of xerneas and got nothing good.
All in all my luck was alright but I also raided over 350 times that week lol

Anyone else kept on getting 82IV-88IV from raids I got too many
Shiny rates were terrible, I got like 4 shiny from like 100 raids in total and no 4* or even decent IV mons
I enjoyed and was more lucky in the Road to Kalos than the main event.
Tainan and the Global were extremely mid, without much surprises and with a really low shiny rates;
I don't think I'll buy the next ticket if it will be like this.
Unpopular opinion: WAY too many people complain endlessly about the state of Pokémon Go. Maybe I’m just ignorant and mindless but golly am I tired of hearing how much people “struggle” with these events. I have fun playing with friends. I get lucky sometimes and sometimes not. That’s how pogo is designed. Anyone else agree? I can’t be the only one.
I liked the event and had a good time. 24 shinies and a hundo kyureum, plus obtained several goals for the week and weekend.
I had a GREAT time and bought 1 raid pass. You all take this game way too seriously. I did 16 raids including 12 Dragonite raids and used 200 coins!
They should allow the players to participate a super Mega raid only if they have mega pokemon in their party, otherwise they should not allow them to participate.
120 raids between Monday to Sunday and got 7 shinys 4 had a background. I'll consider that very lucky from all the feedback I've seen from people doing 100 raids without a shiny 😱
Did 400 plus raids this week and got shiny with background… worst event in history. F2P from now on, not because I don’t like the game but because I hate the company… so yeah
Bro I feel you I went to go tour LA and got a hundo yveltal, no background or shiny.
It wasnt a scam. The rates are lower than a cd. I eneded up with 50 shinies so not too bad

Shiny spawns was awful i didnt get any new shinys just aload of repeats the only new shy my dad got was hawlucha.
I thought I was tripping,I did the Most Raids I ever did (around 50) yet got the fewest shinies I ever got only 1 !! And my only hundo was a dragonite -.- usually I do like 20 raids and get 1-3 shinies
Arent shiny rates 1/20 in the legendary raids? Most people didnt even get 1/50 hows that even legal lol
Played for 7 days and it only gave me 1 shiny background and it was a shiny background i already got wtf
6pm tuesday is when go tour kalos pass timed rewards expire if you have not claimed them yet go check to make sure.
My Kalos tour was a bit of a self scam. I played the hell out of the lead up event, but then as soon as the weekend came,
I just looked at my phone and thought there is no way im moving today. Finally pushed myself out for about an hour, did a few things, but I just couldn't be bothered.
Feel like the passion is just faded now.
I remote raided for groudon and kyogre, but decided the new megas would be over my budget. I didn’t know anything about the new mechanics and I’m glad I didn’t ruin anyone’s day by spending money

Horrible event not surprised by niantic money hungry company
Getting shiny legends with backgrounds was challenging but I managed to get 3, two of which were from trades from "friends". The big scam will always be Origin Palkia and Dialga legacy moves. Practically impossible to get the correct move, shiny, and background.
The best tour was Kanto, hands down. Niantic need to bring that format back imo.
Scopely should require 10 megas / 8 megas in the lobby before anyone without a mega to join the lobby. Hopefully this will help more megas in the raid.
Got a shiny Dragonite in first raid without background and lost a remote and energy from one after defeating the boss. So was 50/50 on my part, lol. Eggs were bad when heracross was hatching the most, or Kanagaskhan but it is what it is worth by the money grabbing company lol

I ended up only doing 2 mega Dragonites. Malamar, I wasn't that excited for and i missed the first so no mega Victreebel. This after obsessing on getting it best buddy last month. But i see now what events will be, so I'm not going to be mad about it. The shield minimum was annoying because for so many attempted raids, we had 10 or 11 players but like 8-9 megas. I was screaming at my phone! 😂

Absolutely ! This was an horrendous event.
And the only possible chance to get shinies was spending a bunch of money in incubators and remote passes, of course I didn’t.
New niantic are not idiots, but they treat us like if we were.
I was at the in person LA event. Took me 43 yveltal raids to get a shiny and IV was like 73 . Probably close to 400 raids last few weeks. Best IV i got was a 95. Unbelievable. Hopped in alt. Did 2 raids, hundo kyogre. Absolute sht

A guy on my local discord got 2 shundo dragonites from in person raids with 1 hour. Some people have all the luck.

I gotten a hundo mega Dragonite on my first raid i was shocked so I'm golden but it's not a shundo I have yet to ever get a shundo I've got some hundos but zero shundos
I feel very lucky. 5 dragonite raids and 2 of them were shiny, 2 had special background
I got a 100 Xerneas and Slowpoke from a raid back in 2023 lol
I barely got any shinies from raids. I only managed to get a shiny Malamar, a shiny Shadow Ho-Oh, and a shiny Kyurem; all of them didn’t have a background. 😔
