I’m a part of the PVP community. For two seasons I was in the top rankings, that being said I’m a MASSIVE fan of Poké AK. He’s 100% right with what he said in this video and most times in the overall POGO game. Why? He’s real and speaks truth. Most POGO Youtuber’s are in Niantic/Scopely’s pocket!

You're the only one I keep follow after been follow 10+ other pogo tubers in many years, because im tired of bullshit.
I been playing nonstop since 2016.
it's a hard technical challenge to guarantee the same experience when thousands of players try to play with each other across the whole world. Honestly I don't see any other option than increasing time between moves (like they seem to have done) in order to increase the stability of the game. One other option would be to introduce regionalisation so you can only play people from your region, but we don't want that as well no ? essentially it's a classic pick two out of three options. It feels slow right now but I guess you can get used to it over time.
The only thing I'd want from scopely right now is to give a guarantee that in pvp you always get a match with neutral moves for both sides at the start of a match. This sounds like it's doable for the most matches. and then we can play mind games, if I get this type on the front, then I need this one in the back to counter etc.

Whats the difference though? In a completely unrelated story i spent over 6000 pokecoins in my sleep…i still have no idea how it happened lol. I laugh now but man was i pissed. I asked Niantic about it but of course they havent responded.
I love how every time I switch my team I get an error when trying to battle a few times and then when I do get a game I’m hard countered. 🤔
The best players in the world can’t even get above a 60% win rate because the game won’t let you. It keeps you as close to 50% as it can.

Facts about the algorithm. When Niantic announced they were using "machine learning" all the arguments about PvP, account prefs for "luck", etc went out the window.
pvp is truly the worst feature in this game
I only play ML because for some reason GL gives you no Stardust even though its the one most people play
I wish we could get a 3rd charge move
so many pokemon would benifit greatly having a 3rd coverage as so many times I see battles/games where players get walled and cant do nothing but let their foe farm them down

To be fair… PVP is a very hard programming nut to solve. You have what is essentially a turn based game. Think about the difference between two players ping rate. One has 70ms the other 700ms. The only way to solve it is to delay. You could screw the players with slow ping. You can equalize it to some point of accommodation. Its going to be some type of compromise.
The cheaters are still out there and they do nothing about it. As for the haters, one PvP channels is LITERALLY ON THEIR PAYROLL as he does announcing for their tournaments.
