$500 for a card and FromJapan couldn’t even be bothered to pack it with more than a piece of cardboard and a penny sleeve. Hopefully insurance works.. already contacted the company but I gotta lament somewhere.

Looking at Price charting the unlimited versions are selling between $3-8 usd on eBay lol
I want to roast the guy as much as everyone else but they’re right about all the eBay versions being 1st edition or the English versions are the unlimited. Only Japanese unlimited version I saw was a psa7 going for $700

Seller pocketed $500 and couldn’t be bothered to use 25 cents worth of packing materials. Very unusual for a Japan-based seller. Usually everything I order from there comes to me able to withstand a tank rolling over it.
FromJapan is a proxy, not a seller. the original seller you bought from packed it badly, probably because they didn’t know it would be going internationally. Fromjapan just sends you what the seller sends. Next time use a proxy that allows for extra protection in shipping like buyee or zenmarket.
My bubble Mew shipped like this right before the spike in its value, so I was stuck with a damaged card, albeit at a fraction of the new price. The seller was nice enough to provide a partial refund though.
Oh man that’s rough. There’s always that added layer of pain knowing something that old got destroyed in shipping, let alone something this exclusive.

It’s an easy fix with Kurt’s Card Care. I’ve gotten some bends/creases gone
