This is not just another feedback post about the All Out event, but also a request to Niantic/Scopely: please, make this a regular part of the game. I'm not saying it should be like that every day, that would be too much, but why not let (almost) every pokemon spawn from time to time? Including the legendary wild part and raids too.
Event was not perfect of course, but I liked it a lot. What do you guys think? How often should we have an "All Out"?

No more than four times a year if they were going to repeat a weekend event like this, personally.
It was fun. Got me out and walking instead of rotting inside like normal. I think it should be an annual thing.
Decrease the flee rate and/or give us some special ball like the safari one and it would be almost perfect tbh.
Wouldn’t mind if they slashed 2/3 of the legendary spawns if it meant actually catching the ones that did show up
Yeah, I don’t know. I was kind of whelmed. The spawns didn’t seem all that different and were still overwhelmingly Kanto (and I live in a fairly spawn dense area.) nerfing the shiny rate and not increasing the catch rate for the legendaries was a big miss. What’s the point of being teased with the encounters if 90% (or in my case, all) run away? Idk. This could’ve been better with all Kanto regionals in the wild and slightly higher catch rates.
Niantic plant.
I liked it. Obviously there were bad parts about it but that’s expected from every event now. Shiny rates extremely low, legendary catch rates low and flee rates high. Raid spawns awful, I have three gyms by me and there were only 3 total ultra beast raids the whole weekend. We should’ve been given safari balls or something. For a free event though, I did get 6 legendaries in 2 hours of walking.
It should be like this everyday.
If this game is supposed to somewhat simulate IRL pokemon, all pokemon would be available and not just 10 of them while the other hundreds disappear.
Just tone down the legendaries though. They should be rare.
Wow okay. Not my experience at all. Sorry, but having over a 100 legendaries flee was a complete waste of time.
I’m a day 1 player and I really enjoyed this event. This is the first time in a long time I went out and played without a purpose. I definitely think it should be an annual thing. Maybe next time we could get field research that rewards safari balls or something similar.
I didn’t even notice an event was happening tbh
It could have been a lot better
Kid loved seeing all the legendary mons spawn and was excited just to see the next one while walking. Didn’t care about flee rates, just genuine enjoyment of trying
So glad I wasted all of my incense, candies, and stardust so that every single legendary I encountered would flee. I don’t expect 100% catch rate, but I also don’t expect 100% flee rate. It was very frustrating and I wasted a ton of resources. The idea is cool, but in reality, the event was incredibly disappointing.
I loved it. I caught 3 legendaries including a Galarian Zapdos. It got me outside more and saw a lot of others as well. The idea of seeing almost any Pokemon in the wild was 2016 all over again IMO.
I wish they would have included safari balls even if they’re super hard to get like part of a ticket or walk 3 miles. Or they could have cut the flee rate. Make them hard to catch but not impossible with Kyurem & an excellent throw.
i think it was a bit underwhelming for a 30 year celebration, but i think if it happened once or twice a year like you said, it’d be a lot more appreciated. i hope this is just some testing for an event like this to be added to the game’s general cycle.
I saw nothing I needed in the very little I got to play.
I understand that the spawns couldn’t be too broken, and that the legendaries needed a high flee rate.
I don’t understand the flee rate being that ridiculous, nor do I understand the gyms being clogged with pikachus, or there not being a shiny boost at all on the legendaries. Or the fact that 95 percent of spawns were things I see almost every day.
Amazing event
Piss poor execution
Hope they do it again
It was okay. What I would like is a regional switch Pokémon Day so I can complete my pokedex.
wishing the raids were planned and scheduled. it was hard to do multiple raids everything was spawning, we got bad spawns and had to wait out a lot.
I didn’t dislike the event, but I didn’t think it was fantastic either. I found this weekend event to be a bonus to the free Mewtwo we got this week. For this reason, I had an incense running while I went about my weekend but I didn’t focus on it too much. What I would change for this event is bringing legendary shiny rates to 1/20 like raids. This would reward those who actually put in the effort to walk around for the event since they’d be more likely to run into and catch a shiny legendary.
Minus the Incense this COULD just be the daily game. The habitat aspect means that I get exposed to 10% of all the pokemon that exist. The difference between this weekend and a normal day is that the spawns were a bit more varied and Impidimp shows up sometimes.
Was ok. Some tweaks would improve it, but wasn’t bad. Cstch rate dor the legendary was poor. Ended up like 5 caught of ~20 spawns. And 2 of the caught were kyogre.
No shinies.
Did manage to get at least 1 of every ultra beast. Though that was alot of remote raids.
I was very underwhelmed by the spawns. Minus an honedge and then 20ish legendaries that ran after a single ball, the rest were all just basic mons that spawn on a regular basis.
As an event, it was trash. If the varied spawn pool was a regular thing that would be fine.
Absolutely not.
At least with mighty pokemon we had the safari balls.
Its pointless to have legendaries spawn from incense/wild if they are insta flee even with golden berry, ultra ball, and excellent throws
the fact that the current anniversary event is called 30th Anniversary: Kanto makes me wonder whether or not we will get more anniversary events in the future focused on other regions
though this All Out event wasn’t perfect I’d love to see more events like this in the future if optimised better, I loved seeing evolved Pokemon in the wild as well as the Legendary from incense even if they did have the same flee rates as the Galarian Birds, seeing Regidrago from an incense was absolutely crazy (I didn’t get it)
I wish the raid pool was smaller. 16 gyms in our area and we were lucky if we would get 1 wormhole each hour.
If they’re gonna do a bunch of region specific raids all at once they should have raised the remote raid limit
