I got some shame from my friends when I was excited and showed them this pickup I found… I saw this charmander at my LCS and asked to see the price and when I saw it was $70 I immediately asked the owner if that was right, showed him current market on TCGplayer and he insisted it was right and was happy to sell it to me for $70. I really like this card and wanted it for my binder (gonna crack the slab) so I accepted after asking several times if he was sure.
When I got home with it I sent a picture to some friends super excited about it but their consensus is that I took advantage of the card shop owner and I am in the wrong… AITA, did I take advantage of the owner? I just wanted a cool card for my binder 😭
