
Now here is stuff that I would have done if I could do it over again. First off, I would have not put them all in top loaders, it made the milling process a LOT more difficult because we had to manually do it. If you have a mill that can fit it AND do it automatically, more power to ya. Second, I would have gotten a thinner piece of plexiglass, this one is .185 and it is so heavy. Third, I would just avoid super gluing entirely because the thumb tacks worked so much better and it looks cool in my opinion. Fourth, I should have given myself more of a boarder around the edges where the frame is. This thing weighs 40lbs, and I'm not confident in the amount of space I had to drill the brackets into. So this will be sitting on display shelf instead of hanging, which is fine.
Overall, I think its was a great test of craftsmanship.
