I personally think This is interesting meaning the shiny Hunt will make it more fun

I’m going to miss on the permaboosted pokemon
Personally, this is a 50/50 for me. On one hand, it makes shinies more rare and feel more special, what they were always meant to be. On the other hand, it will be sad not getting so many. It depends on if you hunt for the collection or for fun
Does that mean ditto isn’t shiny boosted anymore? 😭 damn that’s my favourite pokemon ever and I was hoping to get the costumed shinies 😒🥲

In fairness Pokemon Go does have significantly better odds (1/512) compared to the main games with out shiny charm (1/4096)but Of course they want people to raid and hatch more to get more money in the their pockets and unfortunately people still fall for it and still give them the money 💀
For me, the permanently boosted ones I got, so for me, the odds in the wild are most definitely not a deal breaker
There's no shiny upsets for me, it's random anyhow! And I have most of them anyhow
I think this is okay. Have billions of shiny Onix and Scyther and wouldnt mind trading some to newer players. Also, got a shiny Victreebel today. If the boost is gone, my luck was insane on that one 😂

I honestly like this change, it brings consistency with the shiny rates. Plus, some of the old shiny boosted mons really didn’t feel like they needed it and over the course of my play time have gotten countless shiny Chansey, Scyther, johto Sneasel, Bronzer etc and thought that these pokemon didn’t really need the boost. Also as you said, I think the raid & egg shiny rework balances this out well. Ig time will tell on how good this change will be, but for now I welcome it :>
I had a shiny Musharna and lechonkm during the last weeks event… but nothing else🤷♂️👍. So far this current event I've had a shiny shadow Beldum from a grunt balloon, and then a few minutes ago a wild Hitmonchan shiny… however overall it really feels like shiny rates have been nuked🫣🙄..sad times
This update really ruined shiny rate in the wild for free to play players

I’m gonna be honest I don’t understand the problem with this, in my opinion shinies are supposed to be rare. For something that comes out of raids and eggs I understand them getting the shiny boost because you actually gotta drop money for it, but for wild pokemon it isn’t an issue that’s what the mainline games have it and they are way worse with their odds while in Go we have it at 1/500. Also the other thing about shinies is ask yourself this when was the last time you cared about a shiny that is 0,1, or 2 star and I’m not talking about ones with PvP IVs or are nundos, I genuinely mean shinies who’s stats aren’t useful at all and are just collecting dust in storages. I think people are just complaining to complain or they want everything handed to them at least it’ll make getting a shiny feel more rarer.

Freaking stupid
So disgusting and I am just not understanding why they would do this. I just dont even care to play anymore. Seeing a shiny no matter how many of it I have made me feel good inside. I was trying to get 50 shiny scythers also because I was competing with someone over that & scyther is my favourite plus it gave a better chance to get good IVs. I hate the way they do things to the players and I was so excited to have evolutions be shiny in the wild even if they were full odds.
There was a time when this would have made me angry, but i just can't find it in me to care. I don't actually remember the last time i was genuinely excited about anything in the game. I guess the crown forms were cool.
