I gave a try at translating the toponyms of Sinnoh into Latin. Admittedly I took some liberties (and possibly some mistakes in Latin) in order to match the town's translations in various languages, not just English.
| Latin name | English name | Etymology |
|---|---|---|
| Germinium | Twinleaf | From germen (sprout), compare Japanese 双葉 (sprout). |
| Arenulae | Sandgem | From arenulae (fine sands), compare Japanese 真砂 (fine sand). |
| Iubilantia | Jubilife | From iubilans (rejoicing). |
| Fodina Intermontes | Oreburgh | From fodina (mine) and intermontes (between mountains), for its location between Oreburgh Gate and Mt. Coronet. |
| Floretum | Floaroma | From floretum (flower garden), compare Japanese 園生 (garden). |
| Colonia Aeterna | Eterna | It just felt right to be named colonia. |
| Concordia | Hearthome | From cor (heart) and concordia (union, agreement), compare Japanese 縁 (connection) and French Unionpolis. |
| Solacium | Solaceon | From solacium (comfort, solace). |
| Lapivelum | Stoneveil | Calque. Compare Spanish Rocavelo (rock veil). |
| Pratensium | Pastoria | From pratensis (of the meadow) and pratens (meadow-green), compare Japanese 野面 (field), French Verchamps (green fields) and Spanish Pradera (meadow). |

| Portus Canalis | Canalave | Just meaning channel harbour. |
| Puncta Nivea | Snowpoint | Calque. I'm aware the traditional Latin term is promontorium, but I don't care. Compare Spanish Puntaneva (also a calque). |
| Ora Aprica | Sunyshore | From ora (seashore) and apricus (sunny). Compare Japanese 渚 (shore) and German Sonnewik ("Sunbay") |
| Convallaria (Foedus Pokemonis) | Lily of the Valley (Pokémon League) | From the botanical genus of the lily of the valley, Convallaria (meaning "of the valley"). |
