I recently started going back over my game collection and I for some reason never could get into Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. This was weird to me because Ruby/Sapphire were games that eluded me as a kid (long story) and I never played them full despite wanting to so bad. I think one of the reasons ORAS didn’t have the same appeal is the character designs were a huge downgrade from the originals in my opinion. I remember thinking they looked so cool back in the originals but the ORAS versions were so toned down and goofy. This might be an unpopular opinion and I know definitely late to the party.
