I think they stopped giving them backgrounds at least a couple months ago.

That stopped happening back when cresselia was in the Go Pass, back in November. I could be wrong on the exact Go Pass legend but I know that it stopped before this year even started.

The monthly pass legendary had the season special background up until they got rid of seasonal backgrounds in December.
