GIGATON HAMMER IS 300 POWER FOR RAIDS?!!!
I feel vindicated in saying that they’d definitely make such an iconic attack strong. I’m not even expecting this to make Tink a top tier attacker or anything, probably crazy slow in cooldown. But this could still put it on the radar. I think even just putting it around normal Metagross is a big win.
Also 130 power in PvP. Absolutely expected it to be a nuke. Probably for the best for something that bulky and with a great typing and fairy wind.

Cool Pokemon I’m not swimming in and don’t have a shiny of, 2x candy I actually need more of, and 3x Stardust? This is a win, in my book. A CD actually worth playing.

I really wish they would rebalance PvE moves properly instead of 1upping themselves with every release like the did for the past ~5 years with basically every move released being massive powercreep.
Edit: I am fully aware that Tinkaton needs every help it can get in relation to PvE but why does gigaton hammer have to be 3x (even ignoring Party Power) as good as every other steel move in the game that is not a legendary signature move or MM (distributed/available to exactly 2 steel evolution lines).

300 base power sounds great until you realize tinkaton has 142.9 attack at level 50, compared to say 291 on zacian or 228 on metagross

Gigaton Hammer needs a breakpoint of 2.5s AD to really begin challenging top-end meta. The stats of Tinkaton are just too low to really compete at the moment. Otherwise, along the same line of Cinderace, Toucannon, Rillaboom, etc it’s a good budget option.

They need to start letting us use charged TMs during comm day to get these legacy moves. I already have one built for great league and ultra league. Great league won’t be a huge investment for a new one, and I’ll be able to catch a better ranked one, but my UL is already rank 2, and there’s no way I’ll spend another 500k dust on a new one that will likely be lower rank. So everyone else will get to evolve theirs to get the legacy move whereas I have to waste an elite tm.

So is it possible to have a bar be over 100 energy on a PVE move? I’m mentally preparing for Gigaton Hammer to be a 130 energy move because it would give it similar pacing to Moongeist Beam (MB getting online in 25 .5s Shadow Claws, Gigaton Hammer online in 13 1s Fairy Winds).
