I've seen the list of the new seasonal field research on Leekduck, and I'm quite appalled by the number of tasks that have more than 5 possible rewards. I typically use field research tasks to farm for shinies/hundos that I do not have, but right now it feels like a pointless effort when you're targeting one or two species only.
I mean, the "Spin 5 Pokéstops" tasks has 22 possible rewards. TWENTY-TWO!
And websites/infographics list like 7 tasks with 10 or more rewards. Conversely, there's only one task with a single reward ("2 excellent throws" for Jangmo-o).
I know that having more and more tasks that have more than 4 possible rewards has been a trend for the past years, but I feel like it is really getting exaggerated in this new rotation. Not to mention that there is only a small weekly time window in which there's only seasonal field research available (from Monday 8pm to Tuesday 10pm). Honestly I don't really see the logic in it, but I'm seeing it through the prism of a ShinyDex/HundoDex completionist, so I'm curious about what other players think. Do you think it's a good thing to have tasks with so many possible rewards?
