I am very confused!!!! The slab and card are all legit and when you look at the PSA website for photos of the grade, it's the card. Why is it labeled in correctly?

Because PSA grades more than 50,000 cards per day. Mistakes get made.

PSA has many people looking at your card – Research & ID, Grade, Assembly, Shipping, etc. Someone didn’t ID the card correctly, and then it moved through the channels per usual. I would think QA would catch this, as 1st edition stamps are easy to see, but QA probably focuses on the condition of the card and slab without looking at the label.
PSA will fix this at no charge if you go to Customer Service.

Kind of crazy to think that got sent back and not caught. But with all the crap circling psa lately, I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised. Pretty sure they will correct it free of charge, I would just contact them and tell them

Been a collector for over a decade and a fan since 1999. Have amassed binders worth tens of thousands of dollars. I have never and will never understand grading cards. It’s asinine. Especially PSA as their slabs look shit. ACE slabs at least look appealing, but that alone isn’t enough to make me want grade something.

eBay will fix these mistakes for free since they messed up, you just need to reach out to customer service. I ran into an issue recently where a card was returned to me un-slabbed when it should have been in a slab, I talked to them, they sent me a shipping label and I had it back in a couple weeks. It’s not convenient to be sure, but it will have the right label.

It’s cause psa is a scam. You think they actually look at your card? They get hundreds of thousands in per month.

Yea mislabeled. I’ve actually got a couple mislabeled slabs as well. You can probably get it reholdered for free if you reach out
