I recently found my childhood stash from the year 2000. It’s a collection of Pokémon Chupa Chups "Gotta Catch 'Em All" stickers and, believe it or not, I even kept the original plastic wrappers from the lollipops!
Here’s what’s in the collection:
Stickers: I have Ash (#01), Gary (#07), Jessie, Charizard (#06), Pikachu (#25), and many others. They are currently stuck on an old brown faux-leather binder.
Wrappers: 20+ original plastic wrappers featuring Meowth, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Pikachu, Jessie, and more.
Bonus: I also found a Sandslash sticker from the Dunkin Bubble Gum series.
Most of these are from the first 70-piece set. I know they aren't mint (since they are applied to the binder), but the visual condition is still quite good for being 25+ years old.
I’d love to hear your thoughts:
How rare are the original wrappers today? (I haven't seen many around).
What would you rate the overall "nostalgia factor" of this set?
Does this have any significant value to a vintage collector?
