Smeargle can be shiny?



I thought they were meant to be shiny locked

Edit: thought this was obvious but I'm referring to it being unlocked AT THE MOMENT, outside of events. I knew it had been released already.

    I think it got unlocked when they adjusted shiny rates for all pokemon

    Meltan is still shiny locked though.

    A lot of shinies are unlocked during this season, including second stage evolutions of pokemon that have mega forms.

    Smeargle can now be shiny anytime. Meltan and gimmighoul are still locked to events currently.

    I always thought he’s NOT locked lol. I hope for Smeargle every day while I take a pic of my buddy for that reason lol lol.

    I never knew it was locked at one point.

    I have two. One from 2021 and the other from 2023. Pretty rare.
