I’m currently using Swampert for battles, it knows 2 charged attacks but his stats are borderline 3 star. Then the other day my girlfriend traded me this Tympole and it was perfect. The Tympole’s max level would be 1465 if I leveled it up. From what I read Swampert is better but the stat difference is so much I was thinking about making the switch. Which one should I go with for battles? Also if I bring the Tympole to best buddy level would that affect his potential max to a different number? Hopefully closer to 1500 but I’ve never been sure about that.
