DS era was my favorite in handhelds. The hardware wasn’t as good as 3DS and wasn’t as revolutionary as the switch, but damn pitcochat and wireless connectivity built in was so awesome. The stylus! Pokemon ranger and pokemon dash!! Super under rated games!

My favorite gen. It was- and is- so good.
First one was Pearl and Palkia is still my favorite legendary (though in terms of Sinnoh games Platinum is my favorite).
The entirety of Gen 4 is one of my *favorite* memories growing up. The games, the anime, the art, all of it. Gotta include Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky too

Sad that we didn’t get a proper Sinnoh (not Hisui) remake. Will sadden me forever tbh. I LOVED Platinum and was hyped for years for a remake, especially after playing ORAS.

Platinum and Heart Gold are my favourite Pokémon games, alongside White 2, White and Explorers of Sky (I can’t pick lol). That DS era felt like the golden age of Pokémon personally, aside from not having *some* QoL that was added in later games.
