I think many people forget about their local regionals, as they’re so common (to them). Here in High Plains, I encounter multiple Tauros every day. If they’re not shiny or hundos, I just dump ’em. But when traveling in Europe, I encountered a player who has never even seen one. It made him very happy to trade for one.
So now that remote trading is a thing, I keep a few Tauros remote-tagged, just in case someone wants one.

I was looking forward for remote trades so I could finally complete my dex with the missing regionals, but so far, nearly all my BFFs didn’t bother to tag theirs.

I’ve got most of my regionals tagged, plus some spare Japanese regionals I got on holiday there last year. The only ones I haven’t bothered with are the ones exclusive to an entire hemisphere, and the ones which had recent global availability (Furfrou trims and Flabebe forms, plus Kangaskhan, Heracross, Klefki and Hawlucha).
But only two of the people I am forever friends with yet have any regionals in their tagged pool…

I’ve read of people mentioning to make sure you tag pokemon for remote trading but how does one tag a pokemon specifically for remote trading? Do I just make a tag called Remote Trade and then tag specific pokemon? Do I need to make a forever friend before the tag, specifically for remote trading, becomes available?

Yeah I’ve tagged a Stonjourner for that very reason, really common here in the UK and I’m sure a lot of people overseas would want one
