I've played these games so many times over the years and there were still some OGs I had never used before. Other than Blastoise the rest of the team were brand new to me.
I went into the elite 4 underleveled. Mostly around 47-48. By the end only Jynx made it to 50
Jynx carried hard. Aerodactyl hits like a truck I just wish Ancient Power had more PP. Parasect was my toxic cheeser for when I needed to play the revive/potion game. Dugtrio was a liability in the E4 after having been so good to me before then. Just couldn't take a hit. But he came in clutch against Blue's Arcanine when he outsped it with an earthquake setting my Blastoise up to finish it off with surf for the win. Kangaskhan definitely helped out with dizzy punch since confusion damage helped a lot.
Blastoise was poisoned in the battle with Lance and I had to walk around for it to faint before I could revive it. I was all out of hyper/max potions going into the match with Blue but had enough revives to play musical chairs as long as my pokemon could handle a hit or 2.
I must admit I was not planning to win on my first attempt and the second Dugtrio landed that earthquake I knew it was over. Awesome experience
