    I honestly would try the trial period rental Pokémon, reminds me of the leagues and would be cool to play with different pokemon I’ve never used/seen before

    Happy you're excited! Also, as someone who also puts shinies into wonder trade on Home, I do it more because I'm really hoping someone who has never had a shiny before gets their first one

    Sending a hundo would definitely be a mistake. Real pokemon builds often require a nerfed stat. Because of certain moves, you actually want an Atk or SAtk that's zero, but not the other. You might want zero speed to take advantage of other moves. PoGo stats strategy is quite different.
