Honestly I feel like with remote trades they really accidently devalued the Lucky Trinket almost to nothing. I dig the idea behind it but by the time you cycle back around to forever friends more times than not your lucky again.

I’ll say it every time until it becomes a reality, every Go Pass should have coins, nearly every single other game that does battle passes has the premium currency as a reward and this game should too.

I‘ll never understand the excitement about lucky trinkets. Yes, lucky trade. But what, 80% or 90%, turn out to have crappy IVs. I know IV don’t really matter, but we’re all hoping to get great IV from trades.

Again, lucky trinket is of zero value (to me) unless it doesn’t expire; I’ve decent odds (being over level 70) of going lucky with people I want to trade with anyway, and I never happen to want to trade with someone I’m not lucky friends with for something I’m desperate for and desperate for it to be lucky, in the few days I have to use the trinket.
The only use case I can see for these is if you can store a few in your inventory and use them at a GoFest or something where you happen upon someone you don’t already know and you both want to trade something special.

Listen these passes are underwhelming to me too, but people dont have to pretend having a chance for the mon to be at 99% strength instead of 99.7% strength makes lucky trades worthless.
If youre doing lucky trades JUST to get a shundo, youre playing a different game than 99% of us.
If you want a usable mon, guaranteed 99% strength and half stardust costs is very valuable to most players.
Now if lucky trades are worth paying for now that we have the remote trade update? Thats a question I cannot answer myself. I personally still like the trinkets because an extra guaranteed lucky with my roommate who plays is still desirable to me.
Though I already felt they were to expensive, even more so now.

Stick a silver bottle cap in the go pass if they want to make sales.
